Dean's Message

Having a profession aiming for a higher quality of human life, gaining experience with this goal and interpreting the experiences gained is as difficult as teaching this profession.

Istanbul Atlas University Faculty of Medicine; It aims to train doctors who know the importance of research and how to transform research results into clinical knowledge and who can produce science. In this way, our students will be doctors who can provide high quality services to today's patients, and as competent scientists, they will be able to solve future health problems with scientific research.

Our students, who will start their medical education in the Istanbul Atlas University Faculty of Medicine in the 2020-2021 academic year, will witness a historical beginning. During your six-year education, you will complete your education under the supervision of our distinguished faculty members, each of whom has national and international experience in their own field.

Integrated Medicine Education Model (Board System) is applied in our education curriculum. Course programs in our medical faculty have been prepared in accordance with the 2014 National Core Education Program.

In this process, basic science lessons will be held in the modern classrooms and laboratories equipped with the latest technology in the new building of our university campus, where each of our students can benefit at full capacity. Our students will receive pre-clinical skills, attitude and behavior training in our well-equipped simulation laboratory. Our students will perform clinical internships and bedside training and theoretical lessons in small groups in the 4th and 5th grades in our university hospital (Medicine Hospital), which has a modern 450-bed, diagnostic and diagnostic systems, 18 operating rooms and a hybrid operating room. .

It is possible to train a doctor who is equipped to overcome problems, can take responsibility, conduct his profession in accordance with ethical rules, research and question, and follow all current developments, with the close bond between the student and the lecturer, which is called the master-apprentice relationship. In order to establish this close bond, our students will be able to be in laboratories with their faculty members from the first year and be involved in the process from the first moment of an academic study until it is concluded. Our biggest goal is for our students to graduate from our faculty as a good doctor and a good scientist with their research.
