The pre-clinical period aims to prepare students for clinical education by providing theoretical and practical knowledge of the body's normal structure and function knowledge, physiopathological mechanisms, clinical semiology, communication and basic professional skills, evidence-based medicine knowledge and skills. The pre-clinical education program is carried out in small and large groups, clinical settings, laboratories, communication and vocational skills laboratory, computer laboratory and community. In this period, Problem Based Learning (PBL), presentation, laboratory applications, standardized patients in small groups, applications of professional skills and communication skills with models and models, applications of professional skills in the clinical environment, computer-based applications, project-based applications, case studies, field studies and independent study, learning-teaching methods are used. Measurement of student achievement is done through multiple-choice tests, objectively structured laboratory exams, Objective Structured Clinical Exams, including applications with models, models and standardized patients, evaluation of PBL performance, evaluation of research project and presentation, evaluation of field study applications and reports.

The clinical training period is structured as clinical internships structured to focus on applications with real patients in clinical settings and semester theoretical courses to support them. Students' success is assessed by oral exams, multiple choice tests, and student report cards.

Internship period is the education period that enables students to prepare for their professional life by working actively in the healthcare team and becoming competent in their professional competencies.
